One of last week’s Above the Law polls pitted several Law Revue YouTube videos against one another. Videos by Columbia Law and George Washington Law quickly pulled away from the pack. After several days of voting, the polls closed with Columbia in the lead, commanding 4,871 votes, or 42% of the vote. GW came in a close second, with 4,672 votes, or 40% of the vote. 11,639 votes were cast. With remarkable reliability, Columbia managed to maintain a consistent but narrow lead of 1% or less for several days, perhaps aided in part by the following message, disseminated throughout the Columbia Law campus:

“Columbia Law Revue needs your support! Recently, our friends made a brilliant video for the Above The Law Law Revue Video Contest. They were selected as finalists and depend on your votes to win. Although they are currently leading chief rivals George Washington University Law School (described by a Georgetown Law student as ‘second string’ and by a GWU undergrad as ‘a bunch of hicks’), the margin is small and surprises could still happen.”

Morgan Yuan, Asian rapper, had this to say: “ATL can actually kiss my ass.”

Tsega Bekele added: “The contest means nothing…you win T-shirts I think?”

We know who the real winners are:

VN:F [1.9.22_1171]
Rating: 7.3/10 (10 votes cast)
VN:F [1.9.22_1171]
Rating: +1 (from 5 votes)
Palsgraf Falls Flat On ATL..., 7.3 out of 10 based on 10 ratings
